Travelling Gavel Update

Freemasons of Lodge St Andrew (Denny & Loanhead) No 176 made the short journey over the hill to the recent meeting of Lodge Dolphin No 911 on the 7th March 2024 to reclaim The Travelling Gavel.

The little wooden mall has pride of place in Denny until another Lodge in the Province comes to claim it. It could be at the emergency Mark Degree ceremony on Friday 22nd March or on Thursday 11th April when 176 will be working a First Degree.

Picture shows Brother Jackie Clark, RWM of Lodge Dolphin No 911, handing over the treasured gavel to Brother Archibald Mackay, RWM of Lodge St. Andrew No 176 as his fellow Denny masons look on.

Travelling GAvel

Therefore the Travelling Gavel is now at Lodge St Andrew No 176 and their next meeting at which the Gavel can be claimed is on Friday 22nd March 2024 which will be a Mark Degree

Please ensure PG Secretary and myself are advised if you claim it.

The Gavel is available for any Lodge in the Province to claim

So the place now to go to is Lodge St Andrew
