Travelling Gavel Returns Home to Bannockburn

On Thursday 8th January 2026, Lodge Stirling Royal Arch No 76 made the long and dangerous road all the way from Lodge Stirling Royal Arch No 76 at New Road B/burn to Lodge Bannockburn Bruce and Thistle No 312 at New Road B/burn and picked up the Travelling Gavel.

RWM Brother Ronnie Bateman headed a very large deputation into Lodge Bannockburn and witnessed a fine Fellowcraft Degree conferred by RWM Brother Kenneth R Shaw and his degree team.

At the conclusion of the meeting RWM Brother Ronnie Bateman was presented with the Travelling Gavel and he thanked RWM Brother Shaw for the presentation and the brethren who had accompanied him in the deputation.

Pictured below are the two RWM's and the Brethren in the deputation
.

Therefore the Travelling Gavel is now at Lodge Stirling Royal Arch No 76. Their next regular meeting will take place on Thursday 26 January.

Please ensure PG Secretary and myself are advised if you claim it.

The Gavel is available for any Lodge in the Province to claim.

So the place now to go to is Stirling Royal Arch

Please let me know at graeme.russell@blueyonder.co.uk

To all you guys with Mobile phones if you want to send a picture of the handover of the Gavel, or for that matter anything of interest, I can post it.
