PGLS Launch an App

At the Regular Communication of Provincial Grand Lodge in January 2025, it was agreed that an App be trialed.

Below is the link to download the App to your Android phone. (Click on PGL logo.) Once on the download page either click download if you are looking at it with your phone or scan the QR code with your phone if you are looking at it on a computer.

Please note this is only available for Android phones so if you have an i-phone don't try to install it. The App has been on a few phones, some for a few months, with no ill effects, however, as with all Apps it is advisable to run it through your own anti virus software to ensure it is free of bugs. You may require to change a setting on your phone to allow the app to download/install, mind and change it back when installed to protect your phone.

The App currently contains similar, but more basic, information to that on the web site just easier to access.

It contains, PGL visitation dates for 2024-2025, Stirlingshire Installation dates for 2024-2025, the location of the Travelling Gavel and the Provincial Grand Lodge calendar.

Please note that I am happy that there are no issues with the App, however it is downloaded, installed and used at your own risk.

With regards to the calendar, it works best in landscape and if you click button on top right you can change it to schedule mode. it will only really be useful if all Lodges provide details of their meetings and degrees to be worked.

The app is not available anywhere else.
