2024 Installation

The Annual Communication and Installation of Office Bearers of Provincial Grand Lodge took place on Saturday 24th February 2024 within the premises of Lodge Zetland No 391 in Grangemouth.

After the formal opening of Provincial Grand Lodge and conducting of business, the election of Office Bearers took place and the Brethren listed in the Office Bearers page, click here, were elected into Office. There was one vacant Office and three Brethren, Brothers Michael Empsom, David Stevenson and James McMeechan, stood for the Office of President of Provincial Grand Stewards. After the vote Brother David Stevenson was elected to the office. The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master congratulated Brother Stevenson and thanked Brothers Empsom and McMeechan for standing and encouraged them to try again next year.

There then was admitted into Provincial Grand Lodge a deputation of Brethren from the Sister Provinces headed by Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master of Perthshire East Brother Ian Cameron who were warmly welcomed into the Lodge.

The Office Bearers were then installed by Substitute Provincial Grand Master Brother Reg Weston and Brother Iain Macdonald Junior Provincial Grand Chaplain.

The Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master then presented the retiring Senior Provincial Grand Warden with his Past Senior Warden regalia and jewel and thanked him for his efforts over the many years he has held Provincial Grand Office. Brother Campbell suitrably replied.

At the conclusion of the meeting the Brethren retired for Harmony.
