60 Year Diploma and Honorary PGL Presentation at 793

At the Regular Meeting of Lodge Polmont No 793 on Wednesday 27th March 2024, after an excellent 3rd Degree conferred by the Past Masters of the Lodge, Brother James Wilson Bennie was presented with a 60 year diploma by the Right Worshipful Master Brother Alex Muir.

On the same evening Brother Bennie was taken aback when Right Worshipful Master Brother Gordon WS Sewell presented Brother Jim with Honorary Provincial Grand Rank by conferring him with the rank of Honorary Grand Director of Ceremonies in recognition of his services to Lodge Polmont, Provincial Grand Lodge of Stirlingshire and to Freemasonry in general.

Also present was Substitute Grand Master Brother John McKenzie accompanied by 4 members of Grand Lodge.

Unfortunately there is no picture of Jim receiving his diploma, however below is a picture of the Degree team, headed by Jim, along with SGM Brother John McKenzie and PGM Brother Gordon Sewell.
