Distinguished Service Membership at 484

At the Regular Meeting of Lodge St John Slamannan No 484 on 15th March 2023, in the presence of Provincial Grand Lodge who were present for their Annual Visitation, Brother Colin Reid Past Master was honoured with Distinguished Service Membership in recognition of his services to the Lodge, in particular his services to the Lodge as Master in 1996-1998 and subsequently Lodge Treasurer, a post he has held for 23 years.

His father Brother John (Jock) Reid had been due to be presented with the same honour in March 2021, but due to Covid this did not occur and since then Jock has passed to the Grand Lodge Above, however the Lodge thought it appropriate that Colin should also be presented with Jocks Diploma. Jock was Master of the Lodge in 1974 and received Honorary PG Marshall, an honour he received in 2010.
