Derek Robertson walks the Province

In April 2025 Brother Derek Robertson of Lodge Bannockburn Bruce and Thistle No 312 walked the province, 150 miles, in aid of Prostate Scotland.

Walking the Province for Prostate Scotland had three main objectives:

1. Raise a significant amount for the charity’s research and communications
2. Encourage all men to get the simple PSA blood test at their GP
3. Promote the positive message and good works of freemasonry

He commenced his walk on Wednesday 23 April leaving from Lodge Bannockburn and completed it on Saturday 3 May back at Bannockburn. An amazing achievement by him and all who had assisted and supported him.

His initial taget was to raise the sum of £10000 for the charity, however on the evening of his completion a function was held in Lodge Bannockburn and it was announced that the monies raised had exceeded £30000 and was still rising.
