PM SYME IS A DIAMOND MASON

Substitute Grand Master Mason Brother John Mackenzie visited Lodge Ancient Stirling No. 30 on Tuesday 17th September 2024 to present a Diamond Certificate to Past Master Brother John Syme marking his 60-year membership of the Craft.

Brother Mackenzie said it was extra special and he shared a friendship for as long as John’s lodge membership.

They were joined on the floor of the lodge by the Provincial Grand Master of Stirlingshire Brother Gordon Sewell and Brother Craig Muirhead, the Right Worshipful Master of Ancient Stirling No. 30.

After the presentation Lodge Buchanan No. 1499 from Cambuslang worked a fine Fellowcraft Degree and at the conclusion presented Bro. Muirhead with a plaque recognising the 425th anniversary of the Lodge.
