PGL Annual Fishing Competition

On the 6^th June 2026, in good fishing weather, 19 anglers attended the annual fisihing competition at Linlithgow Loch. Despite the good conditions only 8 fish were caught the heaviest being 7lbs 3oz which was caught by Connor Wilson from Lodge Polmont No 793. The best boat on the day was Bannockburn Bruce & Thistle No 312 which landed 3 fish weighing 8lbs 13oz by James McMeechan and Cameron Brown.

After the presentations the raffle which was drawn by Tom Lambert from the fishery.

At the conclusion, all were thanked for their attendance, for providing raffle prizes and donations.

As Lodge Bannockburn Bruce & Thistle No 312 were the winners they have also nominated Strathcarron Hospice as next years charity.

It was agreed by all that next years outing will again be at Linlithgow Loch on the 5^th June.
