Presentation of Proceeds from Annual Bowling Competition.
The Provincial Grand Lodge Charity Bowling Tournament was held at Glen Village on Sunday 01 August. Lodge St John Slamannan No 484, hosted a very successful days bowling.
The host Lodge nominated Slamannan Parish Church as the benefactor of the proceeds this year.
The presentation of the cheque by the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Brother Andrew A McKinnon took place within the premises of Lodge 16 where a cheque for the sum of £2,200 was presented to Reverend Raymond Thomson of Slamannan Parish Church.
The Church celebrates it's bi-centenary early next year and is
carrying out essential repairs to the fabric of the building.
The money gifted will be used to help finance those repairs such as
new windows, etc.
