Report on Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge was held on Tuesday 24^th February 2009 within the Masonic Hall, Kirkslap, Denny, the home of Lodge St Andrew (Denny and Loanhead) No 176.

There was a large turn out of Brethren at the AGM, including Worshipful Grand Secretary Brother David Begg and some 40+ Brethren from Sister Provinces headed by Brother John O. Green, Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Dumfriesshire.

The Installation of Provincial Grand Lodge Office Bearers was carried in out in a very capable and efficient manner by Brother Andrew A. McKinnon, Worshipful Depute Provincial Grand Master and Brother Alistair T. Marshall, Worshipful Substitute Provincial Grand Master.

All Office Bearers were congratulated by the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master. Click here for list of Office Bearers.

Also installed on the evening were Brother Alexander Crocket as Worshipful Substitute Provincial Grand Master and Brother Gordon Sewell as Provincial Grand Secretary, congratulations were also extended to these Brethren.

At the conclusion of the Installation the Brethren of the Province sat down to an excellent meal in the company of all the visiting Brethren.

New Provincial Grand Secretary

At the Annual General Meeting the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master Installed Brother Gordon W.S. Sewell as the new Provincial Grand Secretary. Gordon's details have been circulated to all Lodge Secretaries and his e-mail address is pgls.stirlingshire@blueyonder.co.uk.
